How access request data is handled

This notice applies to information submitted through the Google Form used to request access to the PhiShark 2026 research dataset.

Information collected

The application asks for identity and contact details, institutional affiliation, academic role, researcher profile, project description, intended outputs, collaborators, expected duration, and security and deletion plans. Students may also be asked for supervisor information.

Why it is collected

Application data is used to verify eligibility, evaluate research purpose and safeguards, communicate about the request, prepare and administer the Data Use Agreement, grant approved Google Drive access after the agreement is completed, and investigate suspected misuse.

Google Forms and Google Drive

The application is hosted through Google Forms. Google may process technical and account information under its own terms and privacy policies. Approved access is granted manually through Google Drive to the Google account identified in the application.

Sharing and decisions

Application information is limited to people responsible for PhiShark academic access review and administration. It is not sold. Access decisions are made manually; submission does not guarantee approval.

Retention
